X-Ray Photon Diagnostics

The X-Ray Photon Diagnostics group (XPD) at the European XFEL is responsible to design, construct, operate, and maintain instrumentation to monitor the properties of the X-ray beam during commissioning and user operation. We develop photon beam-based alignment concepts and tools, and we study, develop and implement new X-ray diagnostics.
