Detector Advisory Committee

The Detector Advisory Committee (DAC) for the European XFEL advises the project team in all matters regarding the development of detectors needed to exploit the unique science opportunities of the facility.

In this capacity, it reviews the results of the Calls for Expressions of Interest to develop specific detectors, aids in the selection of projects to enter the proposal stage, and follows up and monitors the progress in the development of the detector systems.
