Safety Approval Form (SAF)
Prior to start of the experiment the Safety Approval Form (SAF) must be signed by:

the main proposer,
-
the local contact,
-
and the European XFEL safety engineer
During the experiment the SAF document is posted at the beamline, stating:
-
period of validity
-
list of people carrying out the experiment
-
list of samples
-
safety measures to be taken during the experiment
-
the risk analysis including comments from the SRP Group
If there is a modification in the SAF e.g. a change in the name, validity or sample, you must immediately contact the Safety group in order to re-validate your form.
At the end of the experiment, you must again contact the Safety group to ensure a check of the experiment hutch.
