Carolina Camarda

Carolina is a Ph.D. student at the High Energy Density (HED) instrument. Her project involves the study of electronic and structural properties of major Fe-bearing geomaterials at conditions close to the core-mantle boundary, appling X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction as the main techniques to understand the deep Earth’s process. These techniques are carried out at X-ray facilities such as Eu.XFEL and Synchrotrons.
