Detectors

The European XFEL Detector Group is responsible for the development and commissioning of the current and next generation of detectors for all of the instruments at the European XFEL. The detector group is comprised of expert scientists and engineers who work directly on the detectors and they have close relationships with a number of consortia who they partner with on various detector projects.

The Detectors group (DET) at the European XFEL has twice yearly input from the Detector Advisory Committee, which comprises a chair and members of detector experts from other scientific institutes from around the world.
