The European XFEL Project Team wishes you a happy holiday season and a wonderful 2008! The eventful year 2007, in which the official launch of the European XFEL took place, is coming to an end. We now look forward to an even more crucial year, with the beginning of the actual construction, the creation of the company in charge of the new European facility and the beginning of recruitment. We thank you for your continuing efforts and your support.
