Toward the close of 2024, the SEC group hosted the "3rd Standardization Workshop at the European XFEL on Liquid Sample Delivery - Experimental opportunities". This particular workshop edition was conducted in person at the European XFEL campus, with the participation of over 100 participants from all around the world.
The program comprised a series of sessions, including "Cylindrical jets and droplets injection", "Flat sheet jets", "Low sample consumption techniques", and "Science cases". These sessions spanned two days and were complemented by experimental sessions, posters session, and round tables. Notably, this year's edition introduced experimental tutorials in the SEC laboratories, led by experts in various techniques and injection systems. The workshop's success was further underscored by the talks of students and young researchers, along with well-known keynote speakers.
