Marana-X is a commercial sCMOS camera from Andor tailored to direct EUV and soft X-ray applications. The detector is mounted on a DN100CF flange and operates in vacuum. The camera consists of 4.2 Megapixels, with pixel size 11 x 11 µm2. The sCMOS technology provides a data throughput with up to 74 frames/sec in full frame 16-bit mode. Therefore Marana-X enables train-resolved 10 Hz operation in full frame without any binning. This detector is typically installed at the hRIXS spectrometer and the small pixel size allows for high energy resolution RIXS studies.
