This virtual meeting will be organised by the groups of the EuXFEL data department, comprising Controls, Data Analysis, Detectors, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, IT and Data Management.
The workshop will comprise of the following sessions:
- Remote Experiments (control systems and user interfaces)
- Data Analysis
- Automation and Motion Control
- FAIR Data Management
- Detector Performance and Calibration
The anticipated target audience includes existing and potential future users of the facility. In particular given the challenging situation of carrying out experiments during the pandemic, this event can help to understand opportunities and constraints of carrying out remote experiments at European XFEL.
