2D pixel detectors will be used extensively by experiments at the European XFEL. Due to the demanding bunch delivery time profile a number of new detectors are being developed which will share common control and DAQ backend solutions developed by WP76, see 2D development page for details.
It is intended to develop single crate DAQ systems, following the e-machine control groups standards, for less demanding diagnostic and experiment detectors. This development is described here.
