Quality assurance coordinator (f/m)

The position

  • establish a quality management system for the European XFEL project
  • coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities in all processes of the European XFEL project
  • establish templates and procedures to be used in the quality plans and test plans set up for the production of all equipment
  • assist work package leaders with the implementation of the same quality level in terms of standards, documentation control, communication, production processes, tests and acceptance procedures, providing solutions for non-conforming equipment, corrective and preventive actions, monitoring and measurement, change management, risk management
  • report to the project management on QMS status and performance
  • conduct internal and external audits

Requirements

  • engineer’s degree with special training in quality management
  • several years of proven experience in QA management
  • working experience in large projects environment involving high technologies (precision mechanics, special materials, vacuum, cryogenics)
