Internal auditor (f/m)
The position
- review of the accounting and internal control system
- examination of financial and operation information
- review of the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of operations including non-financial controls of the company
- review of compliance with laws, regulations, management policies and directives (decisions) and other external and internal requirements
- audit of the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system
- specific inquiry into individual items including detailed tests and checks
- audit planning, development and communication of an audit strategy
- management of the contact with external auditing bodies
- direct report to the management board
Requirements
- master's degree (or equivalent) in business administration or comparable experience, knowledge and capabilities
- working experience in auditing, preferably in either a civil service environment or in construction companies
- ability to work, negotiate, and enforce items in English and German
- willingness and ability to cooperate with the management, auditees in scientific and administrative groups, and government authorities
- quick grasp and good social skills
