Working in an international environment for the world’s brightest X-ray source

The European XFEL will make available X-rays of unique quality for studies in physics, chemistry, life sciences, materials research and others. Located in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, it will comprise a superconducting electron accelerator, magnet structures for the generation of the X-ray radiation, photon beamlines, and scientific instruments for a wide range of experimental techniques. Construction of the European XFEL is underway, its commissioning is scheduled for 2015.

The European XFEL GmbH now hires

The European XFEL GmbH is a non-profit company of limited liability under German law. This company was founded on 28 September 2009 with DESY (Hamburg, Germany) as the then only and today main shareholder. The list of present shareholders you will find here.
