This is the summary of the annual budget for 2011 of the European XFEL GmbH, including for comparison the previous year's budget, as approved by the Council at its 6th meeting on 29 October 2010.
The table shows an additional column regarding the average number of full-time equivalents (FTE) in the three major activities of the company. The increase of personnel costs reflects the building-up of the staff complement of the company.
The peak of investments for civil construction is reached in 2011, here shown in the line 'Capital' in the major activity 'Machine and Technical Infrastructure'.
The investments for 'Beamlines and Experiments' will still grow over the next two years.
The accelerator complex is built essentially as in-kind contribution under the coordination of DESY and will show up in the books of the European XFEL GmbH only once it is contributed after its completion. (55KB, en)
