InternalInternational school for young scientists: Advanced research in photon sciences – Experimental capabilities of the European XFEL

This international school aims at education of young scientists towards state-of-the-art research in the field of photon sciences applying radiation of free-electron lasers (FELs).
The school will contain general tutorial presentations on physics and techniques of FELs as well as scientific talks on concrete experiments to be done using equipment of the European XFEL. More than 15 non-Russian scientists world-leading in various fields of FEL-related research will give lectures to the school participants. Russian lecturers will review interests and achievements of the Russian scientific community.
